Evaluations are for all 10,11 and 12 year old baseball and softball players who have not played in the Majors previously.

Baseball: Thursday March 12 from 6-8:30 Falmouth Middle School (we have both large and small gym)
Softball: Sunday March 15 from 5-7:30 Falmouth Middle School (we have both large and small gym)

Each year there are many questions, anxiety and possibly some misunderstanding about player evaluations.  These are not tryouts as there are no cuts in Falmouth Little League.  These are simply player evaluations to offer the coaches of AAA and Majors a chance to review players and attempt to make equal teams across the leagues.   It is very low-key, non-stressful with great enthusiasm and encouragement for all players.  All players must be registered prior to the evaluations date(s).  Please go to www.falmouthlittleleague.net to register your son/daughter.  All new players that will either be considered for as well as 12 year olds new to Majors for both baseball and softball will be required to attend evaluations.  First year AAA players (age 9) as well as any players that will be playing at the AA or T-ball level will not attend evaluations.  FLL does not have evaluations for these age groups.

All players must bring sneakers and glove.  Once a player has been evaluated, they will leave the gym.  Parents will not be permitted in the gym during evaluations as it can be a distraction to a player and a safety concern.

Please see schedules below.  This schedule based on age and last name will allow a controlled amount of players to be evaluated at one time.  Coaches should arrive 20 minutes prior to start time of evaluations.

All 12 year olds will be placed on a Majors team in 2014 unless a parent requests otherwise.  If they did not play on a Majors team as an 11 year old, they are required to attend evaluations.

Most 10 year olds will play AAA, although they are eligible to play Majors.  If your child is age 10 or 11 and you would like them to be considered for Majors, and they did play at the AAA level in 2013, they must attend evaluations.  All 9 year olds will play AAA and will not need to attend evaluations.
